Psalm 57:7-11
Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, For my soul takes refuge in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge Until destruction passes by. I will cry to God Most High, To God who accomplishes {all things} for me.He will send from heaven and save me; He reproaches him who tramples upon me. Selah. God will send forth His lovingkindness and His truth. My soul is among lions; I must lie among those who breathe forth fire, {Even} the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows And their tongue a sharp sword. Be exalted above the heavens, O God; {Let} Your glory {be} above all the earth. They have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down; They dug a pit before me; They {themselves} have fallen into the midst of it. Selah. To Awaken the Spirit of Christ within students, bringing about a change in their life. So that the truth, purpose, and love of Christ might dwell within them, to Awaken others around them.
Awaken Conference apart of a three part ministry. The Awaken Conference is a conference put together by the students of Cobb County. Our first ever conference was held at North Star Church, in August of 2008 and we had about 50 people come out. It was amazing to see what God did through everyone evolved and everyone who came out. This would all be included under the events part of our ministry. Our second and third parts have yet to be revealed to everyone, but I will tell you that God is doing some amazing things in this ministry. We are doing our best to get a non-profit status up that way we can be a legal ministry.
